My name is Rob Beckett. I was born and bred in Luton. I have recently started my own driving school which is called Meadway Driving School Ltd.

I am a fully qualified ADI. (Approved Driving Instructor) which I have been doing for several years.

It’s a job I love and I think that is apparent when I teach. I take pride in teaching new drivers being young or old and my teaching style makes it easier for nervous pupils. I enjoy having a bit of fun whilst learning, which in turn builds a good relationship with my pupils and helps them to feel more comfortable and learn quicker.

Before I was an Approved Driving Instructor I worked for ntl: as a call centre team manager for ten years. This has helped me to teach driving by using my customer service and management skills.

I believe I have been successful as I make sure I look after my pupil whilst teaching and give them my full attention, take interest in them, even after they have passed the driving test. I carry no additional passengers, so the whole hour is teaching you.

I teach in a Black Vauxhall Corsa SXI+ which is a very popular car to teach in. As well as this many of my pupils, past and present want one themselves. Do Pass Plus and you may be able to afford the insurance!!
